The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) division of Finance and Treasury Board has an opportunity for a Policy and Research Advisor to join our team. What You Will Do
Reporting to the Chief Privacy Officer, the Policy and Research Advisor will assist the Information Access and Privacy Unit ("Unit") in providing strategy, policy, leadership, expert advice, training and guidance on information access and privacy to GNB and other public entities governed by the Right to Information and Protection of Privacy Act ("Act").
The position responsibilities include:
"Must Have" QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in public policy, law, arts, business administration, information management, or related field of study. Experience in an administrative role OR conducting policy or legal research, preferably with a government agency, is required.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: The successful candidates will possess the following technical competencies: Effective Communications, Ability to use Office Technology, Software and Applications, Presentation Skills, Planning and Organizational Skills.

Salary: $50,648.00 to $70,772.00 annually.
