Reporting to the SCM Procurement Lead, the Procurement Administrator is primarily  responsible   for   supporting   the   Supply Chain Management  (SCM) group in processing requests for materials and   services . 

 

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a deadline   focused   environment   and has a good working knowledge of procurement and   supply chain management and intermediate to advanced data entry/office admin skills. 

 

This position is a permanent role based out of our office in Calgary, AB. 

 

  What would you be doing?

  • Collaborate   with the Operations team to review purchase requisitions and lead them through the procurement process to obtain PO’s for goods and   services   required . 
  • Responsible   for approvals and tracking of purchase orders, and subcontracted   commitments . 
  • Track KPIs and follow up with the supplier’s and subcontractor to resolve issues or discrepancies to ensure timelines are met. 
  • Track progress for PO’s and subcontracts and update key stakeholders. 
  • Maintain vendor  relationships   including managing and resolving vendor performance and issues. 
  • Update and maintain data in various systems to ensure accuracy and data integrity. 
  • Measure and track the gaps between received goods and  services   and follow up with the supplier to resolve outstanding items not yet invoiced. 
  • Establish a good working  relationship   and an efficient way of working with the key stakeholders within the   organization . 
  • Ensure procurement is done in accordance to our policies and procedures.
  • Stewarding  change   management   with Operations and AP department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Strong   understanding   of Supply Chain activities including sourcing, procurement, and supplier relations.
  • Ability to take initiative, exercise sound judgement, and work  collaboratively   in a team   environment .
  • Excellent   verbal and written   communication skills   with the ability to liaise with all levels of the   organization .
  • Strong   attention to detail .
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • A high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to  create   and maintain accurate and   organized   documentation.
  • Advanced computer skills, including MS Office. Intermediate Excel and databases.
  • Ability to work in a  dynamic   role and   adapt   to a changing   environment .
  • Have a positive outlook and ability to work in a professional environment.
