Procurement Manager

The Role

In this role, you will report to the Head of Procurement, and will be responsible for:

• Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
• Negotiating and finalizing contracts and quotes with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions within SLA—24 hours from receiving the request from the client to sending the quotation to the clients.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors to optimize pricing and delivery terms.
• Finalizing the pricing and preparing the quotation in Xero and sharing it with the client within the SLA to increase the order conversion rate and client satisfaction.
• Maintaining the order data/inquiry database properly and on time.

Ideal Profile

• You possess a Bachelor’s in Information technology, Computer Science, or Supply Chain.
• You have experience conducting market research for the best IT solutions/vendors available, checking stock availability, negotiating prices, and processing orders till delivery.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills are required to liaise with vendors and stakeholders, both internally and externally.
• You have analytical, logical thinking, problem-solving, and writing skills.
• You are also proactive, performance-driven, well-organized, and results-oriented.
• You are adaptable, open-minded, and comfortable working with ambiguity, and you can adapt to changes in a fast-paced startup.
• Proficiency in English and fluency in Spanish/Portuguese to liaise with local or international clients.
