Job Description - Production Administrator

Production Administrator Location Vernon, BC : As a Production Administrator you will provide support for the Operations team in the areas of job orders, engine allocation tracking & forecasting, data entry, and data maintenance among other key job duties. Operations Support

  • Create and release manufactured, product development & misc. job orders.
  • Completing job orders; issuing materials and other month end inventory tasks.
    • Raw aluminum counts and reporting for Cutting & Forming.
    • Updating Job Orders in production including custom job instructions.
    • Maintain document control and collection from Production.
  • Update and maintain engine allocation in production schedule, CSI, and job orders.
  • Maintain databases and excel sheets; Engine Tracker, Department Efficiencies, KPI's, Reworks, & job order logs.
  • Maintain data views in CSI for direct and indirect labour.
    • Support completing operations including ensuring time applied correctly.
  • Update operational and production floor documents as required.
  • Assist in receiving trailers and issuing to jobs.
  • Facilitate internal department communication by acting as the “bridge” between the office and production floor.
  • Attend daily production meetings.

Administrative Support

  • Assist in maintaining the information required to create accurate forecasts for our engine partners.
  • Provide leadership and support in managing allocation of motors and trailers to job orders.
  • Maintenance of departmental documentation including, staffing sheets, inspection forms, work procedure, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Follow all applicable KingFisher Boats and WorkSafeBC Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
What do you need to succeed?
  • On the job training is provided.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products is required.
  • Previous experience operating an ERP system is preferred.
  • Production experience is an asset.
  • Ability to troubleshoot errors.
  • High attention to detail is required.

Schedule/Shifts
  • Day Shift - 40 hours/week flexible arrangements available; schedule to be agreed upon with supervisor.
