Job Description - Administrative Assistant - Work from home

Job Description:


Starwood Hotels & Resorts is seeking a passionate and dedicated Administrative Assistant to work from home in Toronto, Ontario. As an Associate level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in administrative roles.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing travel arrangements. 2. Assist with document preparation, proofreading, and editing as needed. 3. Maintain electronic and physical filing systems to ensure organization and easy access to important documents. 4. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries. 5. Collaborate with team members on special projects, events, and initiatives. 6. Manage expenses, process invoices, and track budgets accurately. 7. Conduct research as needed to support various projects and tasks. 8. Assist with onboarding new team members by providing necessary information and resources. 9. Uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance at all times. 10. Work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments to support overall productivity and efficiency.


Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree preferred. 2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications. 4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 5. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively. 6. Demonstrated adaptability and strategic planning abilities. 7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment. 8. Previous experience working in a similar role preferred.
