Job Description - Administrative Coordinator

Job Description:


We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Discovery Communications in Montreal, Quebec. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of relevant experience in administrative roles. The Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support to various departments within the company and ensuring the smooth operation of office activities.


Responsibilities: 1. Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for senior executives. 2. Manage and maintain office supplies and equipment inventory. 3. Prepare and distribute internal communications and reports. 4. Assist in creating presentations and other materials for meetings and events. 5. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and emails. 6. Assist with event planning and coordination, both internal and external. 7. Serve as a point of contact for visitors and clients, providing a professional and welcoming environment. 8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective office operations. 9. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.


Requirements: 1. At least 4 years of experience in an administrative role. 2. Strong organizational and time-management skills. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 6. Adaptability and dedication to providing high-quality support. 7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet. 8. Presentation skills to create professional materials for meetings. 9. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners.
