Job Description - Recruitment Administrator

Join Our Team as a Recruitment Administrator (Temporary, Remote, Calgary or Edmonton)

 

This role will work Monday to Friday with overtime based on hiring needs. 

 

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires? We are seeking a dedicated Recruitment Administrator to play a key role in expediting, collecting, verifying, and storing crucial documents and certifications required for individuals joining our organization.

 

What would you be doing?

  • Source for top-tier talent through our Applicant Tracking System
  • Communicate with Hiring Managers to confirm position requirements/details and provide on-demand status updates for candidates during onboarding.
  • Work with internal applications, tools, and programs to accept, create jobs, assign candidates, track progress, and successfully hire.
  • Assist in scheduling, monitoring, and obtaining the results of Drug and Alcohol + Occupational Health testing through approved vendors.
  • Oversee, validate and track the timely receipt of documents/certification while investigating and regularly following up on outstanding requirements with candidates.
  • Work with the recruitment team to verify and comply with all candidate onboarding requirements before deployment.
  • Obtain and provide first-day details to the candidates in the process.
  • Provide exceptional customer service as the key point of contact throughout the onboarding process
  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration of recruitment projects and initiatives, including maintaining spreadsheets and metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Does this sound like you?

  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Position must be proficient or willing to learn how to use an Applicant Tracking System.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with ambiguity and change.
  • Being proactive in determining and managing multiple deadlines.
  • Passionate about attracting and delivering talent to the company.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure service environment with frequent priority changes.
  • Former experience in onboarding an asset but not mandatory
  • Typically requires a high school diploma and approximately 1-2 years of former office administrative experience or training.
