Are you a skilled developer with a passion for creating efficient and reliable datadriven web applications Do you excel in Linux administration and have expertise in Ansible automation Were seeking a Senior Web Applications Developer and Systems Administrator to lead the design and development of complex web applications while ensuring the integrity efficiency and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and development of complex datadriven web applications ensuring they perform required functions with integrity efficiency and reliability.
2. Develop web applications utilizing expert knowledge in Linux (Ubuntu) administration Ansible automation PHP 8 (experience with Laravel highly regarded) and MySQL and/or PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases.
3. Utilize advanced skills in HTML CSS and JavaScript to enhance the frontend of web applications leveraging frontend libraries such as Bootstrap and Vue.js.
4. Collaborate with technical teams to gather requirements document solution specifications and write functional requirements.
5. Scope plan and manage projects ensuring quality and timely delivery of objectives. Manage teams effectively to achieve project goals.
6. Communicate effectively with stakeholders through written verbal and electronic communication channels.
7. Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment demonstrating excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Desired Skills and Technologies:

• Advanced knowledge of HTML CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with frontend libraries such as Bootstrap and Vue.js
• Experience with Atlassian products (Jira Confluence Bitbucket)
• Experience working with geospatial data
• Experience with Python
• Experience implementing and consuming APIs and web services

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in leading the design and development of complex datadriven web applications.
• Extensive experience in Linux (Ubuntu) administration Ansible automation PHP 8 and MySQL/PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
• Comfortable working with Git for version control.
• Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team environment.
