Your Opportunity at SECURE Energy The Sludge Pad Operator is responsible for day-to-day duties on site needed to complete work in a safe and timely fashion and maintain a clean work site. This position must adhere to our safety program and work as a contributing member of the site team. Work Environment This position is located in Grande Prairie, Alberta and offers a 7-day on, 7-day off shift rotation with 12-hour workdays A Day in The Life

• Assist on the offloading of Vac & Tank Trucks.
• Operate pressure washing and steaming equipment.
• Operate Pumps and tanks.
• Operate processing equipment (yellow Iron) for loading/ unloading trucks and mixing cells. On site vac truck, loader, vac box trailer, skid steer.
• Actively participate in the processing of all waste within the sludge facility
• Provide general labour services as required
• Complete maintenance, inspections and checks.
• Actively participate in safety meetings and daily tailgate meetings
• Abide by Secure's Occupational Health and Safety Program
• Assist in creating and maintaining a clean and organized Facility
• Ability to work with various materials such as: hydrocarbons, NORM, lube oils, drilling fluids, acid’s

Skills, Experience, & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of General Operations experience
• Heavy equipment experience would be an asset.
• Competent at completing documents on a daily basis
• Good understanding of the regional Occupational Health and Safety requirements and ability to operate mobile equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Strong work ethic and willingness to persevere through difficult weather conditions, challenging work site environments and long demanding work days.
