The Security and Emergencies Division is responsible for coordination amongst different levels of government and the private sector to improve prevention, preparedness and response capabilities in New Brunswick for deliberate, accidental or natural events, including 9-1-1 services, emergency management and recovery programs, building community capacity and resiliency, security, and critical infrastructure.
The Department of Justice and Public Safety is seeking a motivated individual to join the Security and Emergencies Division as the Supervisor, Divisional Administration Support Team.
What you will do
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily supervision of the Divisional Administration Support Officer Team while overseeing the coordination of Office Management Support activities. The supervisor will work closely with the Branch directors on any issues that may impact program delivery and will facilitate the delivery of administration support for the Branches. The supervisor will be required to effectively communicate with the ADM, Directors and Managers on issues that may affect their branches and personnel.
This position is essential to the successful administration of support activities as it provides job specific leadership and direction to the team. The supervisor role requires knowledge of complex Divisional operational environments to ensure proper training, development, and tools. Individual branch priorities will be set by branch directors and coordinated with the Divisional Administration Support Team Supervisor.
Duties will include:
Communication and service to the public, along with internal and external stakeholders is an important element of this role as well as the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work well under pressure.

Wage
ASL 5: $2,043 to $2,481 bi-weekly (depending on education and experience)
