Team Lead

Reporting to the Manager of Community Living, the Individual Day Program/Team Lead Community Living creates an open and inclusive community to help create a better life for the residents that we support. Individual Day Program/Team Lead Community Living will collaborate with the Community Living Coordinator to implement programing focused on getting the resident out and about, to increase confidence, social skills, and their presence in the local community. The Individual Day Program/Team Lead Community Living will work with residents to pursue their goals and dreams. You will work directly with our residents and patrons to both spearhead daily activities and work with residents on a one-on-one basis. Your role will include working with young adults with varying level of physical and cognitive abilities. The position requires shift flexibility, requiring at times the need to work evenings and nights, and to be available to mentor the team. You will be required to accompany, and participate where appropriate, in various activities with the young adults that range from swimming to attending social events. Personal Care and cleaning tasks are also required. SKILLS & ABILITIES: The flexibility and willingness to learn
