Overview:

As a Warehouse Administrator you will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks within the warehouse to ensure smooth operations. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining inventory accuracy, processing paperwork, and supporting the warehouse team in meeting supply chain objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock checks, update inventory records, and ensure accuracy in the database.
  • Document Management: Prepare and manage all necessary warehouse documentation, including shipping documents, bills of lading, and invoices. Generate reports on inventory levels, order statuses, and other metrics as required by management.
  • Operational Support: Coordinate with the warehouse staff to ensure that all operations such as receiving, storing, and shipping are carried out efficiently. Assist in resolving any administrative issues that arise during daily operations.
  • Training: Provide support to warehouse staff on how to use WMS effectively. This includes conducting training sessions for new hires, creating user guides and SOP, and offering ongoing support.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Mitigate system issues that may arise on WMS and coordinate with IT support or software vendors for resolution.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and analyze data from WMS to provide insights into warehouse performance. This may include metrics such as inventory turnover, order accuracy, reviewing customer rates, and labor productivity.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure that warehouse facility complies with industry regulations and standards. Implement safety measures to prevent and minimize workplace injuries and accidents. Conduct necessary Safety Sessions to promote safety procedures and processes.

Required Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Great when working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • 1-year experience in a warehouse environment an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
