A well established and reputable Architecture and Design firm with a smaller office in Edmonton, is hiring for a junior or intermediate Architectural Technologist to join their busy and collaborative team. This company is well established and have a collaborative work culture. THE JOB
The ideal applicant will have excellent communication skills and work with team members throughout all processes of the project phases. As a junior or Intermediate Architectural Technologist, you will be working with clients and design teams to discuss project plans, designs, schedules and proposals, and work according to these to produce high quality working drawing packages, construction documents, details and blueprints. You will use your experience to do mark ups and changes to ensure projects are finished accurately and in a timely manner. This position will have you working on a range of impressive design projects including community and cultural work, civic, institutional, mixed use and commercial and educational projects. Some contract administration work will also be undertaken with support from senior staff. WHAT'S REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will have the following credentials;

• Architectural Technology Diploma/Certification required
• Between 2 and 10 years' experience as an Architectural Technologist
• Be currently living in Canada and have at least 2 years of Canadian experience
• Experience working with Revit is essential
• Experience working with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office is an asset
• Some Project management and CA experience is desirable
• Experience working on large and relatively complex projects
• Excellent communication skills
