Our  Construction  Client has an immediate opening for a  Construction Project Manager to  work with their team on several different projects within the Vancouver area. . As a Site Superintendent, you possess extensive expertise in construction. You will confidently oversee all aspects of the site, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery of  the projec t  while ensuring  safety of all.

ACCOUNTABILITY

• On site supervision and coordination of trades for a variety of projects across the City of Vancouver.
• Develop and maintain a project plan and construction schedule, in conjunction with the project team, to manage employee and subcontractor activities.
• Ensures that the project plan and schedule are executed within budget and that the work is completed in compliance with the design requirements.
• Provide leadership to peers ensuring all site staff are adhering to the company safety culture.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 5+ years previous experience working on residential, institutional, or commercial  projects.
• Construction knowledge – overall understanding of construction processes, sequencing and planning concepts
• Ability to understand the scopes of work project and schedule, as well as interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
• Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills
• Proven interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
