Overview:
Peak Cellars is located on a 7-acre property in Lake Country, and is home to our Goldie Road Vineyard. Wine isn’t the only thing the property produces; the half-acre organic vegetable garden and two greenhouses supply the highest quality fruits and vegetables for the Garden Bistro. We are looking for part-time Housekeeping Supervisor to join our incredible team of wine and food lovers.
Role type: Year-Round, full-time (30 hours and up to 40 or more per week)
Reports into: Manager, Event Operations and Accommodations
Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the Housekeeping Supervisor include:
- Train Housekeeping team members including knowledge of all necessary equipment.
- Create and implement a training program for all facilities within the property.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Schedule Housekeeping Team and approve time off requests.
- Create and implement a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly cleaning schedule for multiple properties.
- Manage cleaning schedule and staffing for multiple properties and competing priorities.
- Ensure maintenance team is aware of rental properties in use and when certain services are required.
- Manage and update cleaning check list for each property.
- Follow up with team members as needed with positive and constructive feedback.
- Ensure all cleaning standards are met to satisfaction.
- Support Managers and Concierge Team as needed.
- Ensure overall health, safety and well-being of team members and guests alike.
- Perform property and room checks, ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected to facility standards.
- Addresses internal and external complaints to resolve issues or concerns.
- Ability to perform all cleaning tasks if team members are unavailable.

- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.
- Works well unsupervised.
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for lengths of time.
- Ability to lift 40lbs.
- Pays attention to detail when cleaning.
- Handle basic maintenance and cleaning.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- High school Diploma or equivalent.
- Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving abstract.
