Quality Engineer Responsibilities Reports to the Quality Assurance Director on all matters. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of all our products and procedures through rigorous inspections, implementation of quality assurance/control measures and identification of areas for improvement. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Education
  • Bachelor's Degree of Diploma in mechanical or industrial Engineering with 5 years of relevant work experience; and
  • ASQ CQE certifications or LSSGB is an asset.
Years Of Experience
  • Minimum 5 years in Quality with at least 2 years in a Quality Engineering role.
Job Specific Duties
  • Determining and implementing quality standards and specifications for manufacturing processes, products and equipment;
  • Plan, execute and oversee inspection and testing of products to verify conformance with specification and deliverables;
  • Working with suppliers, project sites, and employees to ensure quality standards are met and feedback is addressed;
  • Maintain the complaint, nonconformity and corrective action procedure using records and tracking systems, including root-cause analysis;
  • Actively monitor the A3 root-cause analysis process implemented by the organization and provide help with the identification of root causes and monitor the countermeasure implementation process;
  • Investigate product complaints and reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines; and
  • Provide training and support to Quality Assurance team members, focusing on systems, policies, procedures and core processes.
