Position Title: Senior Construction Manager

Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000 per annum

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead our civil construction projects with capital expenditures ranging from $30 million to $50 million. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering project management and asset management, with the ability to oversee multiple projects and a substantial team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Lead and manage civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Project Management: Oversee all aspects of engineering project management, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Management: Develop and implement asset management strategies to ensure the longevity and efficiency of all civil construction assets.
• Management: Supervise and mentor a team of 6-7 direct reports, and oversee a total headcount of 30 employees, including engineers, project managers, and support staff.
• Management: Manage project budgets, including cost control and financial reporting, ensuring all financial targets are met.
• Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
• Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring all safety and regulatory requirements are met.
• Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure all construction work meets the required standards and specifications.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, risks, and issues.

Qualifications:

• of 10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• experience managing large-scale civil construction projects with capital expenditures of $30 million to $50 million.
• knowledge of engineering project management and asset management principles.
• leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising a sizable team.
