What to expect as an Apprentice Technician?

Primary responsibilities include:

• Identify performance problems while using the diagnostic equipment and advising the customers and customer-facing associates on the work performed, general vehicle condition, and future suggested maintenance schedules and repair requirements.
• Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, fluid level checks, tire rotations, lubrications, and tune ups.
• Ensure a safe workplace by adhering to all “work safe” protocols to ensure the safety of yourself and your coworkers.
• Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner.
• Maintain mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Pride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and, on the road, site or field!

• In this role you can expect to be frequently lifting weights of approximately 25KG – this ability is required.
• Up for a challenge? At times the work can be unpredictable, physical, wet, cold and even windy.
• This role will have you crouching, standing, or kneeling on a regular basis.

What does it take to get on track?

• To be considered for this role we need you to be at least a 3 rd or 4 th year Apprentice or Licensed Automotive Service Technician, preference will be given to those with a Red Seal designation.
• We need you to have a valid driver’s license permitting the independent operation of a passenger vehicle.
• You must be able to provide a satisfactory drivers abstract, ensuring you are safe on the road.
