Engineer, Engineering Services South

JOB SUMMARY: The Engineer, Engineering Services South (Mechanical) is accountable to research, develop and implement tasks, methodologies, and practices for the corporation. As a member of SaskPowers management team, this position is responsible for preparing technical studies, business cases, designs, specifications, tender evaluations, and equipment and construction drawings. This position will prepare project plans, costs, and schedules and provide contract management and project coordination services, ensuring alignment with departmental and corporate strategic goals and objectives. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering or equivalent.
Eligible for membership in the Association of Professional Engineers of Saskatchewan (APEGS)
Professional Engineering Designation - P. Eng.
Relevant experience in a combination of the following engineering tasks: operations and maintenance support, reliability programs implementation/execution, process analysis and optimization, providing design, construction, commissioning, contract management and coordination of projects activities
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant design codes, standards, industry best practices, new trends and developments related to rotating equipment and systems.
Knowledge of AMS, CESAR, FEA or other applicable engineering software is considered an asset. To view full job please visit
