Advantage Personnel is currently hiring a dedicated and enthusiastic Maintenance Worker to join our client's team in Saint John. If you have an ability to identify issues, find solutions, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this exciting opportunity is perfect for you!

• Available Shifts: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm and every 3rd weekend
• Rate of Pay: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform day to day maintenance and customer service duties required to keep the property safe and presentable for customers, staff, and tenants;
• Perform daily property inspections and promptly reporting repair needs;
• Conduct minor property repairs and maintenance tasks;
• Ensuring property safety and respond to tenant concerns;
• Maintaining property cleanliness and curb appeal;
• Self starter and ability to learn on the job
• Ability to be on call

Candidate Qualifications:

• Customer service focused and have a can-do attitude;
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• College diploma an asset
• Ability to work at heights
• Able to lift 55 lbs
• Use of ladders
• Use of motorized lifts (training/certification provided)
• Knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, lawn mowing equipment, and general maintenance an asset.
• Ability to use power tools and equipment
• Valid drivers license
• Basic computer skills
• Internet navigation
• Microsoft Word and Excel
• CPR and First Aid certification an asset

Regular shifts weekdays 9am-5pm with weekend rotation approximately every 3rd weekend. Occasional after hours call in for unexpected issues
