Collins Aerospace seeks a dynamic PC Support Technician to join our team at the YEG Airport in Edmonton International Airport. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering essential technical assistance for computers, servers, peripherals, and network systems. Your expertise will shine as you engage directly with customers in a face-to-face setting, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service delivery. Join us in driving innovation and excellence in the heart of aviation technology. This role will perform shift work in a 24x7x365 environment.

***You will work a rotating shift based on these shifts***

Midnight Shift - 0:00-08:00

Morning Shift - 08:00-16:00

Evening Shift - 16:00-0:00

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. – not sure why this is needed. This strictly an onsite role.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installing/replacing hardware (computers, printers, laptops, etc.) and validating solution implementation is completed

• Responds to any trouble calls from the Customer(s)

• Troubleshoot and identify hardware errors in computers, printers, laptops, etc.

• Work with asset, spares, and consumables management

• Perform quarterly preventative maintenance on workstations and peripherals.

• Must be able to maintain Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in Canada

• Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience as a field technician role or comparable experience;  IT support experience

• Customer Service experience

• Knowledge and experience with Windows 7 and 10 platforms;

• Experience with asset, spares and consumables management;

• Understands SLAs, severity levels, and industry best practices.
