Job Description - Contact Center Assistant

Job Description:


We are looking for a Contact Center Assistant to join our team at Erie Insurance Group in Vancouver, British Columbia. This full-time position at the Associate Level requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a contact center or customer service role.


Responsibilities: - Answering incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries - Providing information about insurance products and services - Processing policy changes and updating customer information - Resolving customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner - Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction - Inputting data accurately into the company's system - Collaborating with other team members to meet department goals - Adhering to company policies and procedures at all times


Requirements: - Strong communication skills - Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively - Adaptability to changing customer needs and situations - Reliability and punctuality - Emotional intelligence to effectively handle customer interactions - Attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry - Knowledge of insurance industry practices and terminology (preferred but not required) - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
