Job Description: Calpine, a leading energy company, is seeking a motivated and resilient Customer Care Associate to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. This is a full-time, work from home position at the Associate level, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service.
Responsibilities: 1. Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner. 2. Assist customers with account inquiries, billing questions, technical support, and issue resolution. 3. Provide accurate information about products, services, and promotions. 4. Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently and accurately. 5. Collaborate with other team members to address customer concerns and provide seamless service. 6. Utilize emotional intelligence to de-escalate challenging situations and ensure customer satisfaction. 7. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service orientation at all times. 8. Meet or exceed performance metrics, such as call quality, response time, and customer satisfaction ratings.
Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. 2. 2+ years of experience in a customer service role. 3. Ability to work independently in a virtual environment. 4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 5. Teamwork and collaboration skills. 6. Emotional intelligence and empathy towards customers. 7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. 8. Must have a dedicated home office with reliable internet connection. 9. Motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. 10. Resilient and able to adapt to changes and challenges.
