Job Description - Online Chat Support Manager

Job Description:


Dick’s Sporting Goods is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Online Chat Support Manager to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As an Online Chat Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the online chat support team to ensure exceptional customer service and support for our online customers.


Responsibilities: - Manage and lead the online chat support team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations - Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and support through online chat channels - Monitor chat interactions and performance metrics to ensure quality and efficiency - Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of online chat support with overall customer service operations - Analyze customer feedback and data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in online customer service and support


Requirements: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in online customer service, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role - Strong leadership and communication skills - Resourceful and confident in managing a diverse team - Excellent time management and critical thinking skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communication, or a related field preferred
