The role
This Member Service Representative will be required to assist members and non-members by phone, e-mail and live web chat. This position requires someone who is flexible, willing to work in a team environment and with the ability to work autonomously. The contact center is open Monday-Friday 8am-9pm, Saturday-Sunday and Holidays 10am-9pm which means the successful candidates will be required to work evenings, weekends and statutory holidays. This position is located in Saint John or flexible depending on candidate's ability to have dedicated remote work space.
QualificationsThe following skills and qualifications will be required to carry out this role:
o Bilingual (French/English) is preferred
o Exceptional customer service skills
o Attention to detail and accuracy
o Organized
o Dependable, possessing an excellent track record of attendance
o Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
o High School Diploma or Equivalent
o Previous customer service experience
ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll be doing on the job:
o Assisting members with:
o Membership Transactions
o Ordering maps and TripTiks
o Credit Card Transactions
o Other duties as required to meet department and organization objectives.
o Monitor Social Media activity and respond to direct messages.
o Assist Members and customers on the CAA Atlantic website by using Live Chat
o Answering general inquiries and transferring callers to appropriate departments as required.
o Responding to inquiry e-mails.
