Remote Support Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Remote Support Specialist to join our team at Illinois Tool Works in Toronto, Ontario. As a Remote Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers remotely, ensuring their issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email or chat, providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance - Document all support interactions and resolutions in our CRM system - Escalate advanced technical issues to the appropriate teams for further assistance - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and technical skills to provide accurate information and support - Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and customer support strategies

Requirements: - 1 year of experience in a technical support role - Resourceful and independent work ethic - Strong critical thinking skills and ability to research solutions effectively - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Customer-focused attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure
