Remote Web Chat Specialist

Job Description:

Illinois Tool Works is currently seeking a Remote Web Chat Specialist to join our team in Montreal, Quebec, CA. As a Remote Web Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and support through web chat interactions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers via web chat to provide support, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. 2. Utilize creativity and analysis skills to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in customer interactions. 3. Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues and provide feedback on common customer concerns. 4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and follow up as needed to ensure customer satisfaction. 5. Stay current on product knowledge, company policies, and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers. 6. Meet or exceed performance metrics related to response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction. 7. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements: 1. 2+ years of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 3. Passionate and hardworking attitude with a strong commitment to customer service excellence. 4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 5. Creativity and analytical skills to identify and solve problems effectively. 6. Proficiency with web chat platforms and basic computer skills. 7. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. 8. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
