Position: Shipping Associate

Duties: This role is responsible for the organizing and functions of a demanding Shipping Department. You will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the shipping department to ensure safe and damage free shipments, collaborate with shipping coordinator and warehouse lead to route deliveries and provide efficient and timely loading of outbound freight, address shipping needs, requests and concerns and assist in the preparation of Bill of Ladings (BOL's) and verifying pick tickets.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm

Compensation (depending on experience): $21 to $23 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two or more years of shipping experience
  • Experienced in both sit down propane and electric dock stocker forklifts
  • Prior experience working with an inventory management system
  • Mathematical aptitude, able to read a tape measure and understand imperial measurements to the 1/32 on an inch
  • Physical ability to safely lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Available for overtime as required to complete department requirements
  • Attention to detail and quality
