Job Description - Certified Dental Assistant

We're on the lookout for a skilled and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our dynamic crew.

As a CDA, you'll be at the heart of our team, delivering exceptional patient care while soaking in the stunning views of Whistler's awe-inspiring landscapes.

From assisting with procedures to managing X-rays and records, your role is pivotal in maintaining our high standards of care. If you're a team player with a passion for dentistry and a love for adventure, come thrive with us in Whistler's bustling ski town!

Schedule: 4 days per week

Wednesday 9:30am-7pm, Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm, Friday 7:30am-5:30pm, Saturday 7:30am-5:30pm

  • We have Periodontic and Endodontic specialists that work out of our office, with the potential for growth into working with them. Or, jump straight in if experience permits.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant within your provincial body or association.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Orthodontic module preferred, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical chairside assistance, including proficiency in instrumentation.
  • Cultivate strong patient rapport while upholding ethical and professional standards.
  • Ensure treatment rooms are prepared in adherence to infection control and practice protocols for every patient.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of practice health and safety standards.
