Position: Part-time / Full-time French Teacher. Explore The Exciting Roles At Forbest Academy French Teacher (Online & In-person):

• A bachelor's degree or above, solid professional knowledge, and experience in French education.
• Proficient in French listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Familiar with French teaching at local elementary and secondary schools (including Core French, Intensive French, French Immersion, and Francophone Program).
• French test of TEF/TCF. Please bring the original to the interview. We only provide a copy of the original for reference.
• Familiar with the North American education system.
• A DELF examiner's experience is an asset.
• AP-level knowledge in French is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field (Education, French, etc.) with relevant education experience.
• Proficient in both English and French reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
• Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience.
• Ability to adapt tutoring strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs.
• Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is a plus.
• Ease of Commute: Ability to commute to our institution on a daily basis.
• Experience: Ideally, 2-3 years of teaching experience.
• Teaching Certification: Possession of a Teaching Certificate of Qualification in British Columbia is preferred.

Job Details

• Full-time: At least 30 hours per week.
• Part-time: Total teaching hours vary based on your availability.
• Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour.

Work Schedule

• On-call basis.
• Teaching from Monday to Friday during after-school and evening hours.
• Weekend availability for teaching.
• Teaching schedule adjustments might occur during school holidays.
