As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a nurturing and educational environment. Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate play experience and activities weekly
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Monitor and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's development
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding assistant educators, supply teachers and students/Volunteers
- Communicate with families, other staff members and the supervisor in a positive and effective manner
- To ensure compliance with Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014, public health regulations and Witte Education’s policy and procedures.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with different needs
- Any duties assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be registered and a member in good standing in the College of Early Childhood Education
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills for lesson planning and documentation purposes
- Classroom management skills
- Time management skills to effectively plan lessons and manage classroom activities - Current CPR and First Aid certification, and Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Must be up to date on all required immunizations and TB.
- Available to work from Monday to Friday between 7AM-6PM
- Preferably speak French or Mandarin. - Preferably have a food handler certificate
