Assistant General Manager

Old Yale Brewing – Chilliwack is looking for a passionate, collaborative, and motivated Assistant General Manager to join our team!

Old Yale Brewing – Chilliwack is located near the pristine and breathtaking River Valley, our brewery’s first home in the Fraser Valley offers a unique and refreshing perspective on craft beer and food.

As the Assistant General Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our operations, working closely with the General Manager to strengthen our passion and creativity which ultimately ensures that every customer interaction is nothing short of extraordinary. 

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including team member management, scheduling, inventory management, quality control, etc.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining and carrying out OYB’s high standards of service and hospitality.
• Consistently contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
• Work alongside the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to help train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Assist in various administrative tasks such as payroll, reporting, inventory management, etc.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 2 years of direct-related experience in a similar role within the hospitality setting and well-rounded knowledge of restaurant operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to make genuine connections, motivate and inspire our team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have a strong ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and other various hours.
