Car Dealership Controller

What You Will Be Doing:

• Planning, directing and managing all corporate accounting functions, including internal and external financial reporting and analysis
• Lead, manage and mentor the corporate accounting team- including accounting, bank reconciliations, accounts payables and receivables, payroll, internal controls, internal audit, and budgeting
• Timely reporting of Financial Statements of the operation: monthly, quarterly, and annually
• Ensuring Bank Reconciliation and accruals are balanced and reported accurately
• Preparing the Financial Budgets for the company, with the assistance of the Senior Management team
• Setting up the Year End audit process and supporting documents
• Work directly with the VP of Finance, CFO's and our external auditors to ensure proper reporting of the financial status of the Group for our year-end
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table:

• A post-secondary education in business or accounting - CPA, CGA, CMA or CA
• 3 years' experience in corporate accounting within a dealership environment
• PBS experience is considered an asset
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-up and accuracy coupled with good analytical skills as well as solid business acumen
• Strong working knowledge of computer accounting systems
• Advanced skills using MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Must have a valid G driver's license and an acceptable driver's abstract
