All about the role  

As the Courier Pay Optimization Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Courier Pay Optimization team in developing a comprehensive approach to courier pay for our self-supporting contractor delivery model across international markets. You will be responsible for data insights and experimentation to drive short-term tactical optimizations, while also supporting the long-term pay strategy through process improvements and automation. Working closely with various global functions, including markets, product, and data science teams, you will leverage economic frameworks to assess network performance, courier behaviour, and market conditions with a focus on enhancing courier pay and incentives. 

What’s On Your Plate:

• Collaborate with markets to design experiments aimed at optimising courier pay.

• Lead the execution of experiments and ensure proper documentation through comprehensive reporting.

• Drive the adoption of key learnings from experiments across markets.

• Mentor Analysts on advanced experimentation analysis and techniques to enhance their skill set.

• Lead efforts to harmonise pay metrics across delco Markets for consistency and efficiency.

• Lead the coordination of new product feature pilots across international markets. 

• Spearhead internal process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance effectiveness.

• Conduct ad hoc analysis and deep dives into courier pay data to uncover insights and inform decision-making.

• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimise courier pay and incentives.

• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance courier pay and incentives.

• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to courier pay optimization

Recipe for Success:

• Experience in analytics, consulting or a related role.

• Advanced SQL skills and experience with complex data structures.

• Familiarity with A/B testing, experimental design, and statistical analysis.

• Visualisation skills with Tableau (or similar), Google Sheets, Excel.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills; able to deliver complex work in collaboration with colleagues, teams and functions.

• Proactive, self-motivated and curious, ability to run with an idea.

• Adaptability to work in a dynamic and ambiguous environment, where priorities may change and new business obstacles may arise.

• Work well under pressure and can balance multiple priorities.

• Great communication skills and able to explain data to various audiences.
