• Hourly wage between $24.68 - $28.21

What you will be doing

• Ensure the safety of the hotel, guests and employees
• Oversee asset protection of hotel
• Research and report any incidents in accordance with standards of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts
• Be a visible security presence while on duty
• Act as First Aid Attendant; responding to all first aid calls while on duty
• Maintenance of effective relationships with Municipal, Federal or Corporate security/police forces

Qualifications Your experience and skills include:

• Previous experience in a customer service related position
• BST certificate and Valid BC Security License or willingness to obtain a Security License
• Occupational First Aid level 2
• Bondable
• Completely fluent English language skills, both written and verbal
• Must be available for all shifts including evenings, overnight shifts and weekends.
• Clear, professional and helpful communication in person and over the phone
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• A high level of responsibility and ability to work well independently with minimal supervision
• Commitment to provide excellent service and exceed guests' expectations
• Impeccable grooming and presentation
• Physical ability to perform the requirements of the job, including:
• Standing/walking for extended periods of time
• Performing repetitive work

Additional Information Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

• Constant standing and walking
• Frequent bending and kneeling
• Frequentcarrying and lifting up to 75lbs
