Job Description - Lead Guest Attendant

Position Summary:
The Lead Guest Attendant also referred to as Bell Captain is responsible for leading the Bell Attendant team, ensuring and maintaining a consistently high standard of guest services. Acting as the guest liaison/ambassador for both hotel and non-hotel services, the Bell team is an information center for our guests, regardless of whether inquiries concern in-hotel or off-premises attractions, facilities, services, or activities.  What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard: 
  • Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching the Bell team; serve as a role model
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the hotel's facilities and services and of the surrounding community and activities available to our guests 
  • Coordinate Bell Attendant tasks and duties of the day
  • Perform all duties such as delivering luggage, room drops, room moves, etc. 
  • Maintain and enforce Eldorado Resort’s policies and procedures
  • Handle guest complaints and problem-solve to the degree possible, as directed by management
  • Monitor parking lot and register hotel guest license plates
  • Ensure lobby is always clean and tidy
  • Ensure the smooth effective running of Bell services
  • Other duties as assigned

To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate the following: 
  • Previous experience in a customer-focused industry or hotel is an asset
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner
  • Ability to provide ongoing coaching to staff to enhance performance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Comfortable leading a team
  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time and lift heavy items as needed
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
