Join our dynamic Vendome Culinary team as a PT Cook. Collaborate with professionals dedicated to food quality and teamwork. Embrace our philosophy of excellence, adhering to standardized recipes for an appealing product. Prioritize cleanliness, safety, and efficiency while maximizing quality and minimizing waste. Work closely with the Kitchen Manager, follow protocols, and maintain high food standards. Your passion and dedication will contribute to our renowned dining experiences. What you will need for the role

  • 3-4 years of cooking experience in the cooking trade
  • A culinary diploma/degree is an asset
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum eighteen (18) years of age to handle alcoholic beverages.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food service and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, preparation, and presentation required.
  • Excellent verbal and oral communication skills, including the ability to give directions and converse with customers.
  • Highly flexible, with solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertaining to the restaurant industry.
  • Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and a consistent display of professionalism.
  • Acquire and maintain a strong knowledge of trends in the food industry.
  • Highly effective teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work.
  • Must be able to work a schedule including early morning, days, nights, weekends & holidays
  • This position will spend 100% of the time standing.
  • Transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly.
  • Will be constantly exposed to high temperatures in the kitchen environment.
  • Manual dexterity is required to use knives and kitchen appliances.
