Architect - Healthcare Planner

The architecture division has expertise in aviation, transit, healthcare, commercial and industrial architecture as well as complex federal programs. The company is focused on expanding into new markets and sectors. They are working under a hybrid work model requiring staff in the office 2-3 days per week depending on project and team requirements. 

Why is this role open:

Company has a consistent stream of healthcare work. With upcoming projects they need to add an experienced healthcare / hospital planner to the team. 

Responsibilities:

• Engages in all aspects of design and planning through sketching to physical and electronic models
• Manages complex tasks and solves complex problems related to healthcare planning
• Works closely with principal in charge to keep them informed of progress on project development, deadlines, and stakeholders
• Handles application of healthcare code and design standards and disseminates this knowledge down to the design and production teams
• Participates in productions of and revises work of technical architectural drawings for healthcare projects
• Leads meetings with client and consultants
• Oversees that work and schedule are adhering to projects timelines and budgets 

Must haves:

• Master’s degree in Architecture, or equivalent Bachelor’s of Architecture.
• Minimum six years of healthcare experience (hospitals preferred)
• Strong portfolio of healthcare work.

Nice-to-haves:

• LEED or Passive House Certification
• Registered Architect preferred
