Camp Health & Wellness Director

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Wellness Director to oversee and manage the Health & Care at Camp Davern . The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare and a passion for outdoor adventure.

Duties:

- Be the practicing First Aider on site, examining issues as they come & resloving them- Deliver high quality care & comfort working with Children & young adults- Organize and facilitate all camper medication- Report & communicate updates with leadership- Maintain medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements- Support staff members wellness needs

- Participate in being a positive part of Camp Community

Skills:

- Certified and Expereinced First Aider / Health Care Worker/Student- Organized, responsible, gritty, caring- Knowledge of acute care practices and procedures- Strong supervisory skills in a healthcare setting

Camp Davern is a traditional Summer Camp for boys & girls ages 7-16. Aimed to get kids outside, try new things, meet new people and have fun! Campers stay overnight for a duration of 1-2 weeks at a time.

The Health & Wellness Director will be practicing & living in our brand new Health Centre building.
