THE PRIVATE EQUITY FIRM The Private Equity firm, founded in 2018, invests in B2B companies in the industrial and specialty distribution sectors within the lower middle market in North America and Europe. The firm differentiates itself with over 230 years of combined operational experience, ranging from shop floor roles to executive management. It focuses on control equity investments, providing hands-on operational support to enhance value creation, and aligns closely with management teams through tailored compensation programs. The firm also brings significant experience from Private Equity, consulting, investment banking, and capital markets, with a track record of over 40 Board of Directors positions and 16 current portfolio companies. VISION What does success look like in this role? Improve budget vs. actual and forecast vs. actual results variances. Optimize accounts payable days, inventory days, and receivable days. Refine headcount management and reporting. THE ROLE The day-to-day role for this position will include the following tasks: Oversee day-to-day financial activities, ensuring integrity of processes. Produce accurate financial reports and communicate key metrics. Manage capital projects, lead cost-saving initiatives, reconcile accounts. Enforce internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance. Supervise accounts payable, purchasing, and production reporting. Prepare audit information and perform other assigned duties. YOUR BACKGROUND The successful individual will be able to demonstrate experience in the following: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred. Fluent in both French and English. 5+ years of Accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing. Proficient in ERP systems and a firm grasp of GAAP. Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
