Position: Finance Specialist (Oracle G/L)
Term - 30-40 hours a week
- 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
- July 2, 2024 - January 31, 2025
- Working hours: 0800-1630 CST
Location: REMOTE
Background: The Administrative Information Management System (AIMS) project is a transformative initiative aimed at integrating business information systems to enhance the management of finance, human resources, and supply chain processes within the healthcare system. This new system will replace 82 non-integrated systems with a single, comprehensive software solution (Oracle).
Key Responsibilities - Coordinate day-to-day functions within the Finance department.
- Provide assistance, direction, and advice on various financial tasks.
- Engage in problem-solving to address financial issues as they arise.
- Offer technical assistance related to financial processes and systems.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records.
Qualifications - University Graduate in Business Administration or Commerce with a major in Accounting.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, with experience in Oracle preferred.
