Title: Pharmacist / Pharmacy Manager

Overview:

Our Alberta-based Client is seeking a professional Pharmacist/Pharmacy Manager registered with the Alberta College of Pharmacy and in good standing to work at and support an established Pharmacy in a rural community within driving distance from Edmonton.

 

Things you need to have: 

• Licensed and in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacy
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Pharmacy in Canada or another Country
• Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-directed and able to work independently
• Ability to work well in a team environment

 

What you will be doing:

• Oversee the pharmacy's day-to-day operations, including but not limited to order entry and receiving, customer service, dispensing, Inventory management, invoicing, deliveries, etc.
• Ability to lead, motivate and train staff accordingly
• Possess entrepreneurial skills with a passion to build the business
• Ensures compliance with federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations, policies and procedures, and accrediting body standards
• Continuous professional development to remain current on the latest advances in the pharmacy industry
• Providing professional and clinical functions related to dispensing including pharmaceutical and clinical care, patient counseling, etc.
• Liaising with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care.
• Responsible for the training and orientation of new employees
