You will play a critical role in the coordination and development of interprofessional plans of care, which reflect patient needs. In addition, you will utilize your demonstrated clinical leadership skills, well developed analytical, problem solving, delegation and interpersonal skills to assist you in the provision of quality patient care. In partnership with your preceptor you will be accountable for the development of comprehensive patient care plans and patient education plans, which reflect your ongoing assessment focusing on the patient’s goals. Your excellent clinical leadership skills will assist you in working with the interprofessional team in the further development of programs to enhance and support patient care. What you bring to the role: Recently obtained registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (within the last 12 months) as an RN or about to be registered as an RNExperience in selected department preferredCurrent BCLS certification RNAO membership is preferredExcellent physical assessment skillsProficient computer skillsDemonstrated commitment to a patient/family centered care environmentDemonstrated excellent critical thinking and problem solving skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively within an interprofessional team as well as independentlyWell developed organization, communication, interpersonal and teaching skillsDemonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standardsDemonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with organization related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required  Compensation:BAND J: 39.10 per hour Who we are:Oak Valley Health is one of Ontario’s leading community healthcare organizations. Across our two sites (Markham and Uxbridge) and Reactivation Care Centre (RCC), we provide high quality, patient-centred care to more than 468,000 patients each year.
