Job Description - Rehab & Wellness Administrator

Rehab & Wellness Administrator Location Toronto, ON :

HealthOne North York , conveniently located a short distance from the North York Centre Subway Station and steps away from Mel Lastman Square, is thrilled to be adding another Rehab & Wellness Administrator to the team!

Job Summary

In this exciting opportunity, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice and a positive experience for all patients of our Rehab & Wellness department. The key responsibilities of this role will be centered around efficient & detail-oriented completion of administrative duties, all while ensuring top-notch client service.

Schedule

  • 20-30 hours per week, between Monday to Saturday
  • Flexibility to work within operating hours required, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Engage compassionately with all patients ensuring that they feel welcomed, accommodated, and encounter a 5-star experience at all times.
  • Efficiently handle administrative tasks with pristine detail, including but not limited to optimizing schedules, appointment confirmations, processing payments, liaising with insurance companies, patient data entry, and product dispensing assistance.
  • Maintain knowledge on various physical rehabilitation & proactive wellness treatments in order to provide informed recommendations to patients and suggest relevant products (orthotics, braces, etc).
  • Contribute to smooth clinic flow by providing reliable support, adhering to policies & procedures, and participating in goal achievement.
  • Actively seek out opportunities to improve and expand our patients' experience in the clinic, while assisting the management team to maximize clinic performance and growth.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of Rehab and/or Wellness Administration/Reception experience
  • Strong client service skills and impeccable verbal & written communication
  • Solid work ethic, organizational skills and an ability to manage competing priorities effectively while remaining efficient in your delivery
  • Self-starter, motivated by goals, and eager to wear multiple hats to be able to grow with us.
  • Tech savvy and proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using a CRM/EMR, specifically Jane software.

Nice to Have

  • Post-Secondary education in Kinesiology or a similar topic.
  • In-depth knowledge of orthopedic devices & passionate about their benefits.
