As the OnSite Supervisor youll lead a dynamic team providing essential onsite supervision of occupational health services at two pivotal locations. Your role will encompass a wide array of responsibilities from delivering primary care for occupational and nonoccupational injuries and illnesses to collaborating with stakeholders on health hazard identification and control measures. Key Responsibilities: Mitigate workplace illness and injury through timely response and early intervention.
Provide consultation on workers fitness for work clinical assessment and management of injury and illness cases.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote worker wellbeing.
Support health promotion initiatives and administer immunizations as required.
Ensure meticulous maintenance of medical records and compliance with confidentiality protocols.
Provide leadership in clinical training and mentorship for onsite nurses.
Conduct quality control audits and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Liaise with key client stakeholders to optimize occupational health services program performance. Qualifications: Minimum 35 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
Demonstrated ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
Proficiency in mental health crisis management or relevant experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional emergency response training preferred.
Certification in audio and spirometry testing is advantageous otherwise training will be provided :)
Nurse Practitioner: Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and Masters degree in nursing preferred.
