Job Description - Senior Content Marketer

Crisp is in search of an adept and dynamic Senior Content Marketer to champion our client's narrative across marketing channels. We're seeking a Senior Content Marketer with a strategic mindset, creative flair, and strong leadership abilities to drive impactful campaigns, guide a diverse creative team, and ensure brand coherence. As the custodian of our client's brand identity and voice, the Senior Content Marketer will be instrumental in shaping their story and cultivating meaningful connections with key audiences, such as healthcare professionals and consumers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a holistic content strategy for our client and associated brands
  • Develop quarterly campaign plans and maintain the rolling campaign calendar
  • In partnership with senior leadership and design team (internal & external), maintain brand guideline documents and ensure those documents meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure our client’s branding is expressed consistently and effectively across all marketing channels
  • Write clear, accurate, and impactful copy for all marketing campaigns and materials, including digital ads, emails, organic social media postings, medical event collateral, etc.
  • Provide hands-on creative direction on all marketing assets, including brief development and creative review
  • Manage production of photo shoots, videos, podcasts, and radio ads by contractors and/or external agencies
  • Develop and maintain presentations, faxes, handouts, and other collateral to nurture and augment our client’s relationships with external stakeholders
  • Manage and oversee a design team made up of internal full-time employees and external contractors
  • Manage external agencies responsible for video production and photography

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in content marketing, brand management, or a related field, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful content strategies across multiple channels
  • Minimum 2 years copywriting experience
  • Experience managing internal and external creative teams, including graphic designers, copywriters, photographers, and videographers
  • Proven track record of driving brand consistency across multiple marketing channels and campaigns
  • Strong portfolio of written and visual content, including digital ads, email campaigns, social media content, and other marketing collateral
  • Prior experience creating content in the healthcare sector, particularly proficiency in simplifying complex scientific concepts in healthcare for consumer understanding, would be an asset

Skills

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Proven ability to think both strategically and creatively
  • Impeccable eye for design and experience providing creative guidance to designers
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of managing diverse teams and working effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience overseeing the production of marketing assets, from initial briefing through to delivery
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, social media platforms, and analytics tools
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices, to ensure content is optimized for search engines and audience engagement
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust content strategies based on data insights
