• Develop privacy impact assessments for key healthcare initiatives.
• Lead discussions with stakeholders to address privacy considerations.
• Analyze program proposals for privacy risks and compliance.
• Provide technical advice on data protection and security.
• Develop processes to ensure proper handling of personal health information.
• Advise project teams on privacy legislation and regulations.
• Identify and recommend strategies for addressing emerging privacy issues.
• Participate in planning solutions to support healthcare initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in privacy impact assessment methodologies, with a focus on healthcare projects in the public sector is a must.
• Strong understanding of privacy legislation, particularly the Personal Health Information Privacy Act (PHIPA).
• Proven ability to lead risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Certification in privacy or information security preferred.

Employment Details

• Salary: $80.00HR - $90.00HR
• Benefits: 37 hours weekly, Contract, Hybrid
• Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday
• Other: 12 months contract, possibility of extension
