Our Position
As a valued partner to the business, you are empowered to build and implement Talent Acquisition strategies with the Human Resources Business Partners, Global Talent Acquisition Leads, Senior Business Leaders and Hiring Managers to fill vacancies; searching for people with the right capability and skills in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Your role involves proactive activity anticipating talent needs, building sourcing plans, and leading the overall recruitment process.
Typical accountabilities will include:
Building strong partnerships with hiring managers. HR colleagues, and candidates, building a bench of diverse and experienced candidates to meet both current and anticipated business needs
Participating in all activities in the recruitment life cycle including; sourcing planning, screening, interviewing, pre-selecting, offer management, hiring and onboarding
Advising hiring managers about recruitment responsibilities, interview approach, employer value proposition, legal requirements and appropriate candidate management techniques; providing resources and tools as needed to educate and enhance the skills of individuals involved in the hiring processes
Elevate our employer brand through recruitment marketing on LinkedIn and Glassdoor by building recruitment messaging through employee voice videos and position promotions
Managing the recruitment of various positions against delivery of key time, cost and quality targets and metrics including proactively searching for candidates
Leading intern and summer student recruitment activities across the business including partnerships with specific programs to highlight our value proposition to future talent
Gathering and analyzing feedback from various sources for continuous improvement to ensure a great candidate and hiring manager experience
Appropriately challenging the recruitment process and sharing new insights to ensure hiring activities have the appropriate priority and to select the top candidate considering a mix of skills, abilities, potential, and diversity
Ensuring assigned recruitment services are in compliance with Global Recruitment and country policies/guidelines
Managing 3rd party providers to required procurement and policy standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Corporate recruiting experience, Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry is an asset
Minimum of 5 years of relevant talent acquisition experience
Expert in identifying and securing passive candidates via various ‘direct' channels - Social Media; LinkedIn etc., networking, market mapping, careers fairs, industry events etc
Savvy social media marketer - LinkedIn, Glassdoor - to elevate employer brand and amplify position reach
Strong communication, presentation and project management skills
Ability to persuade, influence and advise with strong relationship building and leadership skills
Strong persuading, influencing and consultation skills
Solid understanding of government regulations regarding employment topics
Fluently bilingual in English and French is an asset
