Guest Services Captain

What you will be doing:  

  • Be knowledgeable in all emergency and general crisis procedures
  • Handles all guest concerns and comments both in person and in writing, with an ability to identify and rectify any concerns
  • Liaises with other departments to ensure the smooth management of operations
  • Training colleagues in all aspects of Guest Services, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with maximum efficiency and effectiveness 
  • Complete and maintain on-going performance management and performance reviews as required
  • Helps ensure a high staff morale through participation in staff activities, monthly communication meetings encouraging feedback from all colleagues
  • Seeks feedback to ensure guest satisfaction and monitoring of trends and ideas
  • Other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills include:

  • Must have a Class 5 Driver License in good standing, 5 year drivers abstract dated within 30 days. Class 4 Driver’s License preferred

  • Strong leadership skills, able to lead employees to achieve the department’s vision and goals and a desire to achieve results above expectations

  • Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
  • Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever changing environment
  • The ability to driver both automatic and standard vehicles
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Must be in excellent physical condition and able to lift heavy objects
  • Working outside in extreme weather conditions
