The Lake Joseph Club is Hiring a   Host/ Food Runner!

Secure your summer employment for 2024!

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Provide quality service to guests
• Assist in the setting and clearing of tables in the Bistro
• Assist with prompt food service
• Ensure Bistro is kept in a clean and well maintained manner
• Take reservations from guests
• Maintain floor plan and arrange seating in the Bistro
• Handle guest concerns & inquiries
• Communicating orders and information from Front of House to Back of House.

QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Experience preferred but not required
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of wines, fine food is a definite asset
• Previous experience with the Squirrel POS system is an asset
• Post-Secondary courses related to hospitality an asset
• Ability to work well under pressure and independently
• A self-starter and team player
• Smart Serve certification an asset
• Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

• Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
• This is a seasonal position with start date depending on the opening date.
